Özet
Juncus alpigenus K. Koch türünün kuzeybatı İran'ın Azerbeycan ilinde yayılış gösterdiği 1993 yılında bildirildi. J. alpigenus türünün morfolojisi ve İran ile komşularmdaki dağılımı üzerine notlar verildi. Bu türün daha önce kuzeydoğu Türkiye ve Kafkasya'da varlığı kaydedilmişti. Bu tür, yapraklarmdaki boyuna kabartılar ile belirgin olan Juncus sect. Ozophyllum ve Juncus atratus gurubuna ilgindir. Bu tür, Juncus alpigenus ve diğer yakın türlerle özellikle çok yakın olan Juncus thomasii ile tartışıldı.
Abstract
Juncus alpigenus K. Koch was reported to occur in the province of Azerbaijan, northwestern Iran in 1993. Notes on morphology of J. alpigenus and its distribution in Iran and adjacent territories are given. The species was previously recorded from the countries of the Caucasus and NE Turkey. It belongs to Juncus sect. Ozophyllum, the Juncus atratus group, which is characterized by prominent longitudinal ridges on leaves. Relationships of Juncus alpigenus with similar species, particularly with the closely related Juncus thomasii are discussed.
