Özet

Yabancı cisim aspirasyonları hem çocuklarda, hem de erişkinlerde hayatı tehdit eden acil durumlardır. Klinik bulgular ve komplikasyonlar yabancı cismin yapısına, boyutuna, anatomik yerleşim yerine, tıkanmanın derecesine ve süresine göre değişiklik gösterir. Solunum sistemine aspire edilen yabancı cisimlerin zamanında belirlenip, çıkarılması komplikasyonların önlenmesi açısından hayati önem taşır. Literatürde yayınlanmış çok sayıda ilginç aspirasyon olgusu olmasına rağmen, aspire edilen cisimler genellikle gıda maddeleri ve özellikle kuruyemiş gibi maddelerdir. Bu çalışmada çiğ nohut yeme sonrası aspirasyon öyküsüyle müracaat eden ve bronkoskopiyle, çiğ nohutun çevresini saran zarın çıkartıldığı ilginç bir olgu sunulmuştur.

Abstract

Foreign body aspirations are life-threatening emergency situations for both children and adults. Clinical signs and complications show differences depending on the structure, size, anatomic location of the foreign body and also severity and time of the respiratory system occlusion. Detection and extraction of the foreign bodies of respiratory system in time has vital importance in prevention of complications. Although there are many different and interesting aspirated objects published in literature, these are usually food particles especially snacks. Here, we presented a young case who aspirated fresh chickpeas membrane that could hardly been visualized and extracted in barely third bronchoscopy
