Özet
Epigastrik ağrı ve kilo kaybı şikayetleri ile hastanemize başvuran 66 yaşındaki erkek hastaya yapılan üst endoskopik incelenmede gastrojejunostomi anastomoz bölgesinden alınan biyopsiyle adenokarsinom tanısı verildi. Hastaya daha sonra total gastrektomi Roux - Y özefagojejunostomi yapıldı. Bu olgu sunumunda, benign peptik ülser hastalığı nedeniyle yapılan subtotal gastektominin mide kanser gelişimindeki etkisi, tanı ve takipte karşılaşılan problemler tartışıldı.
Abstract
A 66 years old male admitted to our hospital with epigastric pain and weight loss. In upper endoscopic examination a biopsy was taken from the gastro jejunostomy anastomosis region, and the diagnosis was adenocarcinoma. Total gastrectomy Roux - Y esophagojejunostomy was performed. The effect of subtotal gastrectomy for benign peptic ulcer disease on gastric cancer development and diagnostic, follow up problems are discussed in this case report.
