Özet
Memenin invaziv duktal karsinomunda p53 ekspresyonu ve apoptotik hücre ölümünün bilinen prognostik parametreler ile ilişkisini araştırmak amacıyla Ankara Onkoloji Hastanesi Patoloji Laboratuarı'na kayıtlı 160 olgu çalışmaya alınmıştır. Olgulara ait bloklardan alınan kesitlere anti-p53 antikoru ile immünhistokimyasal boyama ve Mayer's hematoksilen-eozin boyaması yapılmıştır. p53 ekspresyonu ile histolojik grade ve pleomorfizm arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı ilişki saptanmıştır (p<0.01). Apoptotik hücre ölümünün varlığı ise histolojik grade, pleomorfizm ve mitoz ile ilişkili bulunmuştur (p<0.01). Yaş dışında, incelenen parametrelerin kötü prognozu gösteren gruplarında apoptotik hücre ölümünün sayısal değerlerinin istatistiksel olarak anlamlı şekilde yüksek olduğu saptanmıştır (p<0.01).
Abstract
A hundred and sixty cases of invasive ductal carcinoma of the breast were retrieved from the archives of the, Ankara Oncology Hospital Pathology Laboratory. Anti-p53;antibody was employed to the sections cut from the wax blocks and Mayer's hematoxylen-eosin sections were prepared to determine the histopathologic parameters together with apoptosis. p53 immunostaining was significantly associated with histologic grade and pleornorphism (p<0.01). Presence of apoptosis in sections was statistically associated with histologic grade, pleomorphism and mitosis (p<0.01). Apoptotic cell count was strikingly higher in the worst groups of the prognostic parameters, excluding age. This relation was also statistically significant.
