Özet

kırk genital kaynaklı sepsis olgusunun klinik, laboratuvar ve tedavi özellikleri değerlendirildL Dört hasta sepsis, 28 hasta sepsis sendromu ve 8 hasta septik şok tanısı aldı. Hastaların 25 (9662.5)' inde hastane dışı infeksiyon, 15 (9637.5)' inde hastane infek-^siyonu saptandı. Sepsis sendromlu hastaların 18' inde karaciğer, septik şoklu hastaların T sinde santral sinir sistemi tutulumu bulguları vardı, tnfeksiyon 25 (9662.5) hastada vajlnal doğum sonrası gelişmişti. Bu hastaların 20 (9680)' sinde plasenta retansiyonu vardı. Servlkal kültür yapılan 26 hastanın 19 (9673.1)' unda, kan kültürü alman 21 hastanın 12 $657.1)' sinde etken izole edildi Hastalara anaeroplan da içine alacak şekilde değişik antibiyotik tedavi rejimleri 10 gün ile 4 hafta süreyle verûdl Yirmibir hastaya küretaj ve 19 hastaya da histerektomi yapıldı. Hastaların 7 (17.5)' si k aybedüdi 5 (%12.5) hastada ise sekel kaldı.

Abstract

Clinical and laboratory findings and therapeutical features of 40 patients with gynecolocic sepsis have been evaluated Four pa¬tients diagnosed as sepsis, 28 sepsis syndrome and 8 septic shock. Twenty-five of 40 (62.5%) patients had hospital acquired sep¬sis and 15 (37.5%) patients had community aquired sepsis. Liver function abnormalities was found in 18 patients who sepsis syn¬drome. Central nerwous system involvement was observed in 7 of the cases with septic shock. Infection was developed after vagi¬nal delivery in 25 (62.5%) patients of wihch 20 (80%) patients had placental retantton. Sewical cultures were positive in 19 of 26 (73.1%) patients. Blood cultures were positive in 12 of 21 (57.1%) patients. Various antibiotic combinations covered aerob and anae¬robic bacteria were given to the patients about 10 day or 4 week. Curettage was performed in the 21 patients and hysterectomy was performed in the 19 patients. Seven of 40 (17.5%) patients died and 5 of 20 (12.5%) patients were recovered with some seque¬lae.
