DESTEKLEME DAVRANIŞI VE SOSYAL DEĞİŞİM TEORİSİ KAPSAMINDA KIRSAL TURİZMİN ETKİLERİNİN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

ASSESSMENT OF THE EFFECTS OF RURAL TOURISM UNDER THE SUPPORTING BEHAVIOR AND SOCIAL CHANGE THEORY

Özet

Bireyler çevrelerinde meydana gelen değişimlere, olaya ilişkin algılarına bağlı olarak tepki gösterirler. Kişi, olumlu olarak algıladığı bir duruma karşı olumlu bir tavır sergilerken olumsuz olarak algıladığı bir duruma karşı ise olumsuz tepkiler gösterecektir. Turizme karşı toplumun göstereceği davranış şekli de bu doğrultuda gerçekleşmektedir. Dünyanın farklı yerlerinde olduğu gibi Türkiye için de kırsal turizm gelişimsel etkiler göstermektedir. Bu özelliğinden dolayı yöre halkları tarafından katılımcı bir yönetim anlayışı sergilenerek kırsal turizmin gelişmesi sağlanmaktadır. Halkın kırsal turizme olan desteği, onların “kırsal turizmin iyi bir şey” olduğuna dair inançlarının sağlanması ile mümkün olabilir. Çünkü, sosyal değişim teorisine göre, yerel halk kırsal turizmden fayda göreceğini düşünürse turizmin gelişimine ilişkin daha fazla miktarda destekleme davranışında bulunacaktır. Bu anlayış doğrultusunda, çalışmanın amacı, sosyal değişim teorisi kapsamında Daday yerel halkının bakış açısına göre kırsal turizmin yöreye görsel etkisi, yöre halkına bireysel etkisi, turistlerin benimsenmesi ve turizmin yöre gelişimine genel etkisi boyutları kapsamında algı farklılıklarının belirlenmesidir. Analiz sonuçlarına göre, yerel halkın kırsal turizmin yöreyi olumlu bir şekilde etkilediğini düşündüğü ve bu nedenle kırsal turizmi daha çok destekleme davranışı içerisinde bulunduğu söylenebilir.

Abstract

Individuals react to changes in their environment depending on their perceptions of an event. While a person exhibits a positive attitude towards a situation he/she perceives as positive, he/she will have a negative reaction against a situation that he/she perceives as negative. The behavior of the society against tourism is also in this direction. As in different parts of the world shows rural tourism developmental effects for Turkey. Due to this feature, a participatory management approach is exhibited by the local people and the development of rural tourism is ensured. The public's support for rural tourism can only be possible with their belief that “rural tourism is a good thing”. Because, according to the theory of social change, if the local population thinks that it will benefit from rural tourism, it will support the development of tourism in a greater amount. In line with this understanding, the aim of the study is to determine the positive and negative perspectives of the local people of Daday under the theory of social change. For this purpose, the difference in perception within the scope of the visual impact of rural tourism on the region, the individual impact on the local population, the adoption of tourists and the overall impact of tourism on the development of the region were evaluated. According to the results of the analysis, it can be said that the local people think that rural tourism positively affects the region and therefore, they have more supportive behavior according to the rural tourism.
