Özet
Muhasebe mesleği, son zamanlarda ekonomik ve teknolojik değişimlerle birlikte önem kazanmaya başlayan mesleklerin başında gelmektedir. Türkiye’de muhasebe mesleği yasa ile profesyonelleştirilmiş olmasına rağmen iş piyasasında kuruluşların mali işlemlerini gerçekleştiren birtakım niteliklere sahip olan fakat profesyonel unvana sahip olmayan meslek çalışanları da mevcuttur. Dolayısıyla Türkiye’de muhasebe mesleğinin durumu incelenirken sadece yasa ile kazanılmış olan unvanlı muhasebecilerin araştırılması gerçeği yansıtmayacağından çalışmada hem profesyonel muhasebecilerin durumu hem de profesyonel olmayan muhasebecilerin son yıllardaki durumunu ortaya koymak amaçlanmıştır. Bu çalışmada muhasebe mesleğinin durumu iki aşamada incelenmiştir. İlk aşamada Türkiye İş Kurumu’nun 2012-2016 yılları arasında yayınlamış olduğu istatistik yıllıklarından alınan veriler irdelenmiş ve elde edilen mesleki rakamlar analiz edilmiştir. İkinci aşamada ise Türkiye Serbest Muhasebeci Mali Müşavirler ve Yeminli Mali Müşavirler Odaları Birliği’nin (TÜRMOB) ve ona bağlı olan Temel Eğitim ve Staj Merkezi’nin (TESMER) 2012-2016 yılları arasında yayınlamış olduğu faaliyet raporları incelenmiş ve profesyonel muhasebe mesleğinin rakamsal verileri analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmada bir bütünlük sağlanması amacıyla analizler kategorileştirilerek yapılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda mesleğin son yıllardaki durumu ortaya konularak önümüzdeki yıllarla ilgili genel bir bakış açısı oluşturulmuştur.
Abstract
The accounting profession is one of the professions that has recently begun to gain importance along with economic and technological changes. Although the accounting profession in Turkey has been professionalized by law, there are also professional employees who have a number of qualifications in the business market that perform the financial transactions of the organizations but do not have a pro title. Therefore, while examining the situation of the accounting profession in Turkey, it is aimed to reveal the status of both professional accountants and non-professional accountants in the study in recent years, since the investigation of only registered accountants gained by the law does not reflect reality. In this study, the situation of the accounting profession was examined in two stages. In the first stage, the data obtained from the statistical yearbooks of the Turkish Employment Agency published between the years of 2012- 2016 were examined and the occupational figures obtained were analyzed. In the second stage, the annual reports of the Union of Chambers of Certified Public Accountants (TÜRMOB) and its affiliated Basic Education and Training Center (TESMER) published between 2012 and 2016 were analyzed and the numerical data of the professional accounting profession were analyzed. In order to provide an integrity in the study, analyses were made by categorizing. As a result of the study, the status of the profession in recent years has been established and an overall perspective on the next years.
