MUHASEBE EĞİTİMİNİN PERSONEL İSTİHDAMINDA MESLEK MENSUPLARININ BEKLENTİLERİNİ KARŞILAMA DÜZEYİ: MERSİN ÖRNEĞİ

THE LEVEL OF SATISFYING BY ACCOUNTANTS DEMANDS IN PERSONNEL EMPLOYMENT OF ACCOUNTING EDUCATION: MERSİN CASE

Özet

Günümüzde muhasebe meslek mensuplarının sayılarının artmasıyla birlikte muhasebe alanında yeterli bilgiye sahip personele olan ihtiyaç da artmaktadır. Çalışmada, muhasebe eğitimi konuları üzerinde durularak, muhasebe meslek mensuplarının istihdam edilen personelden beklentileri ile ilgili sonuçlar çıkarılmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu çalışma için Mersin ilinde faaliyet gösteren muhasebe meslek mensupları seçilmiştir. Mersin’de, yaklaşık 2.000 muhasebe meslek mensubu belgesine sahip kişi bulunmakta ve bunların 1.430’u muhasebe meslek mensubu olarak çalışmaktadır. Ana kitleyi temsil edebilecek gerekli örneklem sayısının üzerinde olan 176 muhasebe meslek mensubu çalışmaya katılmıştır. Bu çalışma için gerekli olan veriler, muhasebe meslek mensuplarıyla yüz yüze görüşme ve internet yoluyla doldurulan anket uygulamasından elde edilmiştir. Anket verileri 5’li likert ölçeğine göre hazırlanmış ve elde edilen sonuçlar yorumlanmıştır. Uygulama sonucunda, meslek mensuplarının genel muhasebe bilgisine sahip, devamlılık prensibi ile işe girmek isteyen ve bilgisayarlı muhasebe programlarını kullanabilen personeli tercih ettiğini ortaya çıkmıştır. İstihdam edilen personelle ilgili değerlemede ise bilgisayarlı paket programları kullanım düzeyinin nispeten beklentileri karşıladığı görülmekte, diğer alanlarla ilgili orta düzeyde beklentinin karşılandığı anlaşılmaktadır

Abstract

Nowadays, so the need for staff with adequate information in the field of accounting is increasing along with the increase the accounting member of profession. In study, the results has attempted removal related with expectations from staff employed of accounting profession in with an emphasis on accounting education issues. Accounting professions were selected that they are operated in Mersin province for this study. In Mersin, there are approximately 2,000 professional accountants and 1,430 of them work as accountants. 176 accountants who were above the required sample number to represent the population participated in the study. Data required for this study was obtained from filled survey application via interviews and web with accounting profession. Survey data were prepared according to a Likert scale 5s and the results obtained were interpreted. As a result of the application, accounting professionals have prefered that staff have general accounting of knowledge, want to get a job with the principle of continuity and can use computerized accounting programs. It is observed that the level of use of computer software packages have met the expectations, it is understood that staff employed is met the expectations of moderately related to other areas.
