Özet

Bu çalışmanın amacı, 2012-2013 sezonunda Fenerbahçe, Beşiktaş ve Galatasaray futbol kulüpleri ile Avrupa ülkelerinden se- çilen 15 futbol kulübünün transfer harcamaları bağlamında göreli performans etkinliklerini analiz etmektir. Çalışmada, Veri Zarflama Analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çalışmadan elde edilen sonuç- lara göre, sadece Borussia Dortmund %100 toplam teknik etkinlik ve ölçek etkinliğine sahiptir. Türkiye’de etkinlik değerlerine göre, Beşiktaş 18 takım içerisinde ilk dört takım arasına girerken, Fenerbahçe orta sıralarda, Galatasaray ise son sıralarda yer almıştır.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to analyze the performance of Fenerbahçe, Beşiktaş, Galatasaray and 15 selected football clubs from Europe. The study covering 2012/13 season employs Data Envelopment Analysis. The results indicate that only Borussia Dortmund has 100 % total technical efficiency and scale efficiency. According to the efficiency scores, when the clubs are divided into three groups, Besiktas took place among the top 4, Fenerbahce in the middle group and Galatasaray in the bottom group in Turkey.
