Özet
Gebelikte beyin tümörlerine cerrahi müdahale., zamanını, endikasyonlannı ve bu tip hastalarda obstetrik takibin özelliklerini belirlemek amacıyla 2 beyin tümörü olgusu tartışıldı. Hastalardan birisi kafa içi basınç artışı semptomları ile başvururken, diğer hasta gebeliğinden önce beyin tümörü tanısı almış ve rutin gebelik takibine girmiş bir olgu idi. Bu iki olgunun gebeliğinin seyri ve sonlarıma şekli özetlendi. Beyin tümörlerinde genellikle gebelikte hızlı gelişim meydana gelir. Gebeliğin bu etkisi muhtemelen gebelikte artan estrojen ve progesteronun beyin tiimöründeki spesifik reseptörleri üzerinden olmaktadır.
Abstract
We discussed 2 cases of brain tumors in pregnancy to determine the time and indications of surgical intervention, features of obstetrical management of such patients. One of these patients was admitted with the symptoms of intra cerebral pressure increase, second patient was admitted for routine obstetrical examination and she had a brain tumor which was diagnosed before the pregnancy. We summarized progress and outcome of pregnancy of these 2 patients. Generally, a rapid progression was occur in brain tumors in pregnancy. This effect of pregnancy is probably due to impact of increased levels of estrogen and progesterone on their receptors on brain tumor cells.
