Özet
Daha önce Wegener granülomatozu tanısı konulmuş olan ve klinik olarak sepsis tablosunda getirilen 17 yaşındaki bir erkek olguyu sunmaktayız. Hasta kliniğimize yatırılmadan önce başka bir sağlık kuruluşu tarafından siklofosfamid ve prednizolon ile immünosupresif tedavi başlanmıştı. Tedavi altında olmasına rağmen, hastalık ağır bir seyir göstererek hastanın ölümüyle sonuçlandı. Bu olguyu sunmaktaki amacımız, potansiyel olarak fatal olan bu hastalığın tanısı konulduktan ve immünosupresif tedaviye başlandıktan sonra sıkı takip edilmesi gerektiğini vurgulamaktır.
Abstract
We report Wegener's granulomatosis in a 17 years old male patient whose clinical picture resembles sepsis. When the patient was admitted to our clinic, initially immunosuppressive therapy with cyclophosphamide and prednisolone had been started by another health institute. In spite of initially treatment regimen, this disease was concluded in death of the patient. Our aim to present this case report is to emphasize that Wegener's granulomatosis which is a potentially fatal disease, must be closelly followed after the diagnosis and begining the immunosuppressive therapy.
