Üreme mevsiminde farklı östrus senkronizasyon yöntemleri uygulanan Kıvırcık koyunlarında serum pro¬gesteron, östradiol 17 p LH seviyeleri RIA ile ölçülerek ovaryum faaliyetleri kontrol edilmeye çalışıldı. Serum hormon seviyelerinin tesbiti ile ovaryum faaliyetlerinin kontrolünde serum LH ve östradiol 17 (3 pulsatil salgılanımları nedeniyle siklus süresince düzensiz dalgalanmalar gösterdi. Östradiol 17 p, 2 ve 3. grupta östrustan bir gün önce, 1, 4 ve 5. grupta östrus başlangıcında pik yaptı. Bütün gruplarda serum LH seviyesi siklus süresince düşük seviyede seyretti ve sadece östrusun başlaması ile belirgin dalgalanmalar oluşturdu. Siklus süresince ovaryum aktivitelerine bağlı olarak değişim gösteren serum progesteron seviyesi ovaryum fa¬aliyetleri hakkında daha yeterli bilgi vermektedir.
Abstract
In this study, we aimed to control the ovarian activity in the synchronised Kıvırcık ewes during the breeding season, using serum progesterone, oestradipl 1.7 p and LH levels. Ovarian activity can be controlled by determined serum hormon levels. Serum LH and oestradiol 17 p secretions varied with the variation in endogeneous pulsative discharges. Serum oestradiol 17 pievels increased dramatically on the day before oestrous in the 2nd and 3rd groups, and on the first day of oestruos in 1 st, 4th and 5th groups. Serum LH were at the basal levels during the oestrous cycle. At the begining of the oestrous LH levels increased significantly. Serum progesterone levels which showed variations with ovarian activities gave more true information than the other hormones about the ovarian activity.
