Özet
Yeni doğmuş ve genç buzağılarda, bakım koşulları ve bulaşma özelliklerine bağlı olarak dışkı bakılarında protozoonlardan; Cryptosporidium spp., Isospora sp., Eimeria spp., helmintlerden; Trichostongylidae spp. etkenlerine rastlanabilmektedir. Çalışmada Şubat 2010 - Ekim 2010 tarihleri arasında Türkiye'nin farklı bölgelerinde; 17 ilde, halk elinde ve devlet işletmelerinde bulunan farklı ırk ve her iki cinsiyetten 1731 buzağıdan dışkı örneği alınmıştır. Örnekler; Fulleborn doymuş tuzlu su flotasyon yöntemi ile hazırlanmıştır. Alınan 1731 örnekten 5'inde (%0.29) Trichostrongylidae spp. yumurtası bulunmuştur. Bu örneklerden 499'unda (%28.83) Eimeria spp.'ye rastlanmıştır. Eimeria spp. pozitif dışkılar Sheather'ın doymuş şekerli su flotasyon yöntemi ile tekrar incelenmiş, tür teşhisi amacıyla sporlandırılmıştır. Eimeria zuernii, E. auburnensis, E. alabamensis, E. canadensis, E. ellipsoidalis, E. subspherica, E. cylindrica, E. bovis, E. brasiliensis, E. bukidnonensis türleri teşhis edilmiştir.
Abstract
Depending on their conditions of care and the transmission characteristics; Cryptosporidium spp., Isospora sp., Eimeria spp. parasites from the protozoan; Trichostongylidae spp. parasites from the helminths can be seen in the stool inspections of new born and young calves. In this study, stool samples of 1731 calves were taken between the dates February 2010 - October 2010, the calves were in both sexes, different races and from either private owners or government enterprises in 17 provinces from different regions of Turkey. The samples were prepared by using the saturated saltwater flotation method of Fulleborn. Trichostrongylidae spp. eggs were found in 5 (0.29%) of the 1731 samples. Eimeria spp. was found in 499 (28.83%) of the samples. The Eimeria spp. positive stools were examined again with the saturated sugar water flotation method of Sheather, the oocysts were sporulated for identification of the species. Eimeria zuernii, E. auburnensis, E. alabamensis, E. canadensis, E. ellipsoidalis, E. subspherica, E. cylindrica, E. bovis, E. brasiliensis, E. bukidnonensis species were identified. The oocyst numbers per gram of stool were found as minimum 50, maximum 84.000. Carbol-fuchsin staining was done with 267 diarrheal stools for Cryptosporidium spp. and parasites were found in 54 of them (20.22%). The results indicate information updating the coccidiosis and cryptosporidiosis spread, especially in Turkey
