İlköğretim Birinci ve İkinci Kademe Öğretmenlerinin İlk Yardım Bilgi Düzeyi

Özet

Amaç: Bu çalışmada, ilköğretim birinci ve ikinci kademede görev yapan öğretmenlerin ilkyardım bilgi düzeylerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı tipteki bu araştırmanın evreni okul sağlığı çalışmalarının yürütüldüğü İzmir ili Çiğli ve Karşıyaka ilçelerinde yer alan sosyoekonomik düzeyi aynı olan 4 ilköğretim okulunda çalışan öğretmenlerden (151 kişi) oluşmuştur. Araştırmaya ilköğretim birinci ve ikinci kademede çalışan gönüllü katılım gösteren toplam 116 öğretmen katılmıştır. Araştırmada Bilgi Formu (yaş, cinsiyet, branş, görev yeri, ilkyardım eğitimi alma durumu ve eğitim alınan yer) ve İlkyardım Bilgi Değerlendirme Formu (32 soru) kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Araştırmada öğretmenlerin ilkyardım bilgi puan ortalaması 32 üzerinden 22,98±3,87 olarak belirlenmiştir. İlkyardım Bilgi Değerlendirme Formu’na göre en yüksek puanı 25-34 yaş grubundaki öğretmenlerin (24,32±1,95) aldığı, yaş arttıkça bilgi puanın düştüğü, yapılan ileri analiz sonucu bu farkın 55-60 yaş grubundakilerden kaynaklandığı, ilkyardım eğitimi alan (23,81±2,38) öğretmenlerin puanlarının almayanlara (21,46±5,38) göre istatistiksel olarak anlamlı düzeyde yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir (p 0,05) (Tablo 5). Sonuç: Öğretmenlerin ilkyardım bilgisi orta düzeydedir. Öğretmenlerin yaşı artıkça bilgi puanın düştüğü ve ilkyardım eğitimi alan öğretmenlerin puanlarının almayanlara göre daha yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir.

Abstract

Objective: In this study, it was aimed to determine the level of first aid information of primary and secondary school teachers. Method: The universe of this descriptive study consisted of teachers (n=151) working in 4 primary schools with the same socioeconomic level in Çiğli and Karşıyaka districts of İzmir province where school health studies were conducted. A total of 116 teachers who were providing education in the first and second grades of the primary school participated voluntarily in the research survey. Information Form (incl. age, gender, branch, place of employment, status of first aid education and place of education) and First Aid Information Assessment Form (32 questions) were used in the research. Results: In the survey mean first aid information score obtained by the teachers over a total of 32 points was determined as 22.98±3.87 points. According to the First Aid Information Form, the highest score was obtained by the teachers in the 25-34 age group (24.32±1.95) It was determined that the information score decreased with increasing age, and as a result of advanced analysis, the difference in knowledge levels was stemmed from the scores of the teachers in the 55-60 age group (p 0.05) (Table 5). Conclusion: Teachers’ first aid information is at a moderate level. It was determined that the teachers’ scores decreased with increasing age and the scores of teachers who received first aid training were higher than those who did not.
