Özet

İnfertilite, reprodüktif çağda olan bir çiftin herhangi bir doğum kontrol yöntemi kullanmaksızın, en az bir yıl düzenli cinsel ilişkiye rağmen gebeliğin oluşmaması olarak tanımlanır. İnfertilite günümüz şartlarında da sık izlenen bir sağlık sorunu haline gelse de, üreme tıbbındaki gelişmeler daha fazla sayıda çifte teşhis ve tedavide yardım edebilir hale gelmektedir. Ancak doğru tanı, detaylı inceleme ve doğru endikasyonlarla tedavi başarının en önemli unsurlarıdır. Biz bu derlemede infertil çifte yaklaşımı etyolojik yönden inceleyerek çiftin tedavi açısından İn Vitro Fertilizasyona (IVF) doğru yönlendirilmesini sağlamayı amaçladık.

Abstract

Infertility is defined as the inability of a couple to become pregnant after one year of unprotected intercourse without birth control. As the infertility becomes a common health issue, advances in reproductive medicine make the diagnosis and treatment processes of the couples easier. Correct diag- nosis, detailed investigation and correct treatment indications are the key elements of medical success. This review aimed to lead the infertile couple to In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) in the right way in terms of treatment, while investigating the approaches etiologically to infertile couple.
