Özet

Osteoporoz, kemik yapısında porözite ve kırılganlığa neden olan bir hastalıktır. Bu yazının amacı, özellikle ilerleyen yaşta bayanlarda sık görülen bu hastalığın çene kemikleri üzerine etkilerini ortaya koyarak diş hekimliğindeki önemini vurgulamaktır.

Abstract

Osteoporosis is a disease which causes porosity and fragility of the bone structure. The purpose of this article is to emphasize the importance of dentistry by revealing the effects of osteoporosis, especially common in the elderly women, on the jaw bones.
