Özet

Yetmiş altı yaşındaki erkek hastada katarakt cerrahisi sonunda vitre içine enjekte edilen triamsinolonun ön segmente göçü gözlendi. Postoperatif birinci günde psödohipopyon, endotel ve arka kapsülde plak şeklinde biriktiğini gözlediğimiz triamsinolonun ön segmentten herhangi bir komplikasyona yol açmadan bir hafta içinde spontan temizlendiği görüldü. Bu sunumda olgu sunumu yanında vitre içi enjeksiyon sonrasında triamsinolonun ön segmente geçiş mekanizması, olası komplikasyonları ve tedavisi tartışıldı.

Abstract

We observed the migration of triamcinolone particles toward the anterior segment after injection intravitreally at the end of cataract surgery in a 76-year-old man. The particles seen on the first postoperative day as pseudohypopyon and plaques on the posterior capsule and on the corneal endothelium cleared from the anterior segment within a week spontaneously without any complication. In this case presentation, we discuss the mechanism, possible complications, and treatment of this incident rarely observed after intravitreal triamcinolone injection.
