FAALİYET GİDERLERİNİN İŞLETME KARLILIĞI ÜZERİNDEKİ ETKİSİ: BİST METAL EŞYA, MAKİNE VE GEREÇ YAPIM SEKTÖRÜNDE BİR ARAŞTIRMA

Özet
Bu çalışma, pazarlama, satış, dağıtım giderleri, genel yönetim giderleri ve araştırma-geliştirme giderlerinden oluşan faaliyet giderlerinin işletmelerin karlılığına olan etkisini ortaya koymak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışmada kullanılan veriler hisse senetleri BİST’de işlem gören işletmelerin finansal tabloları aracılığıyla elde edilmiştir. Araştırmanın evrenini Metal Eşya, Makine ve Gereç Yapım Sektöründe yer alan 30 tane işletme oluşturmaktadır. Verileri analize uygun olan 16 tane işletme değerlendirmeye alınmıştır. Söz konusu işletmelerde faaliyet giderlerinin işletme karlılığını nasıl etkilediğini gösteren modeller panel veri regresyon yöntemiyle saptanmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre faaliyet karı ile araştırma ve geliştirme giderleri ve pazarlama, satış ve dağıtım giderleri arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to present the impact of operating expenses consist of marketing, sales, distribution expenses, general and administrative expenses and research and development expenses on the profitability. Data used in the study is obtained via BIST companies’ financial statements. The research sample is composed of 30 companies in the BIST Fabricated Metal Products, Machinery and Equipment Sector. 16 companies those date is available to analyze are evaluated. Panel Data Regression Methods determine those companies how this impact of operating expenses on profitability with models. The findings show that there is a relationship between operating profit and research and development expenses and marketing, sales and distribution expenses.
