Özet
Makale, Mu’tezile’nin Ehli Hadis’ten nasıl farklılaştığını ve hadiste ne tür birmetodoloji takip ettiğini ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Makalede özellikle hadismüdâfaasında önemi haiz olan ve Mutezile’nin problemli gördüğü hadislere dairkabul edilebilir yorumlar içeren İbn Kuteybe’nin Tevilu Muhtelifü’l-hadîs isimlikitabı bağlamında konu ele alınmaktadır. Makalede ayrıca Mutezile’nin akla uygunolmadığı gerekçesiyle kabul etmediği ahkâmla ilgili hadislerin analizine özellikleyoğunlaşılmaktadır.
Abstract
The aim of this article will be to provide specific details of how theMu‘tazilites differed and what arguments they used against the Ahl al-Ģadīth whenthey based their legal rulings from the Ģadīth. Specific reference will be given to thework of Ibn Qutayba’s Ta’wīl Mukhtalif al- Ģadīth, whose work comprises of a theologicaltreatise in defence of the Prophetic Ģadīth, which also attempts to find acceptableinterpretations for Ģadīth that the Mu‘tazilites considered problematic. Special focuswill be drawn to the legal Ģadīth, which the Mu‘tazilites considered unacceptable andtherefore rejected them because they did not conform to their rationale.
