Kiğı Piltan (Pilten) Bey Camisi.

Özet

Bugün Bingöl ilinin Kiğı ilçesinde bulunan camisi Akkoyunlu döneminde Pilten Bey tarafından inşa ettirilmiştir. Adını banisinden alan yapı Balaban Camisi olarak da bilinmektedir. Osmanlı döneminde şehir halkına hizmet veren cami, kaza merkezinde bulunan en büyük ibadethane olma özelliğini taşımaktadır. Bu sebepten adı arşiv belgelerinde Câmi-i Kebîr olarak zikredilmektedir. Bu çalışmada bu kadim yapının Osmanlı dönemindeki işleyişi hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Bu çerçevede mimari özelliklerine değinilmiş ve doğal afetler sebebiyle tarihi süreç içerinde geçirdiği onarımlardan bahsedilmiştir. Ayrıca çalışmada camideki görevliler ve bunların aldıkları ücretler ile cami vakfına tahsis edilen gelirler hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Böylece Osmanlı döneminde Piltan Bey Camisi ve vakfının tarihsel süreci her yönüyle incelenmiş ve müessesenin sosyal hayattaki rolü üzerinde durulmuştur. Bugün varlığını sürdürerek bölgedeki halka hizmet veren ibadethane 2017 yılında aslına uygun bir şekilde restore edilmek istenmiştir. Fakat yapılan bu yenileme çalışmasının caminin tarihi dokusuna uygun olmadığı görülmektedir.

Abstract

Kiğı Piltan (Pilten) Bey mosque that is located in the Kigi County of Bingol today was built by Pilten Bey in the Akkoyunlu Period. The building, which was named after its builder, is also known as Balaban Mosque. The mosque, which served the people of the city during the Ottoman Period, is the biggest sanctuary located in the centre of the county. For this reason, it is also called as Câmi-i Kebîr, i.e. the Grand Mosque in archives. In the present study, information is provided about the functioning of this ancient building during the Ottoman Period. In this context, the repairs it has undergone throughout the history due to natural disasters and its architectural characteristics are also mentioned. In addition, information is also provided about the wages of the staff who were appointed for various duties in this mosque, and the income that was allocated to its waqf. In this way, the historical process of Piltan Bey Mosque and its waqf in the Ottoman Period was investigated in all aspects, and the role of it in social life was dealt with. The sanctuary, which still maintains its existence and serves the people in the area, was supposed to be restored in 2017 in line with its original building. However, it seems that this restoration work is not consistent with the original status of the mosque.
