AN HYBRID NUMERICAL ALGORITHM WITH ERROR ESTIMATION FOR A CLASS OF FUNCTIONAL INTEGRO-DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS

Abstract

In this paper, a numerical algorithm based on Laguerre and Taylorpolynomials is applied for solving a class of functional integrodierential equations. The considered problem is transfered to a matrixequation which corresponds to a system of linear algebraic equationsby Hybrid collocation method under the mixed conditions. Thereliability and eciency of the proposed scheme are demonstrated bysome numerical experiments. Also, the approximate solutions are corrected by using the residual correction.
