Özet
Bu çalışma, Gazi Üniversitesi Mesleki Eğitim Fakültesi Giyim Endüstrisi ve Moda Tasarımı Eğitimi Bölümü son sınıf öğrencilerinin atölye çalışmaları sırasında maruz kaldıkları mesleki kas-iskelet hastalık risklerinin Hızlı Maruziyet Değerlendirme (HMD) Yöntemi ile değerlendirilmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamına Giyim Endüstrisi Eğitimi ve Moda Tasarımı Anabilim Dalı son sınıfta okuyan toplam 32 öğrenci alınmış ve değerlendirilmiştir. Öğrencilere gün boyu süren atölye çalışmaları esnasında HMD yöntemi uygulanmıştır. Veriler atölye ortamında öğrenciler çalışırken araştırmacılar tarafından gözlem yapılarak toplanmıştır. Sonuç olarak, öğrencilerin kas-iskelet sistemi hastalık risklerinin en aza indirgenmesinde HMD’nin ve üniversitelerde ergonomi eğitiminin önemi bu çalışmada vurgulanmıştır.
Abstract
This study is performed with aim of evaluating the risks of exposure to the occupational musculoskeletal diseases of final year students from Gazi University, Faculty of Vocational Education, Department of Clothing Industry and Fashion Design during their workshops with Quick Exposure Check (QEC) method. Within the scope of the study, 32 students from Clothing Industry and Fashion Design Department were evaluated. QEC method was applied to the students during their workshops throughout the day. Data were collected by researchers through observation while students were working. As a result, the importance of QEC and ergonomics education in universities for minimizing the risks of exposure of the students to musculoskeletal diseases were emphasized in this study.
