Özet
Kafein, tüm dünyada sıklıkla kullanılan bir uyarıcıdır. Son yıllarda çocuklarda tüketimi artmaktadır. Artan tüketim tolerans gelişimi ve uzun dönem olumsuz etkilere neden olabilir. Bizim iki olgumuzda yoğun kafein alımına bağlı gelişen tolerans ve olumsuz etkileri saptanmıştır.
Abstract
Caffeine is a stimulant commonly used throughout the world. During the recent years the consumption of caffeine has been increasing in children. Increased consumption may cause tolerance development and long-term adverse effects. In our two cases, the tolerance due to heavy caffeine intake and the adverse effects of it have been identified.
