Treatment of varicocele with microsurgical anastomosis

Özet
Ondört hastada spermatik venler mikrocerrahi anastomozla sapnen vene direne edildi. Operasyon 9 olgda profilaktik amaçla, 5 olguda ise infertilite tedavisi için uygulandı. İki haftada olguların %78'inde, 3 ayda %93'ünde varikosel tamamen kayboldu. Bir olguda ise (%7) varikosel boyutunda azalma olmasına karşın hala palpe edilebiliyordu. Hiç bir olguda varikosel boyutlarında artış gözlenmedi. Seminal parametreleri ciddi olarak bozulmuş olan olguların %80'inde tatmin edici düzelme gözlendi.
Abstract
Microsurgical direnage of spermatic veins to saphenos vein was performed in 14 patients. In 9 cases, the procedure was indicated as prophylaxis and in five cases as" treatment of infertility. Complete regression of varicosities was observed in 78% of the patients two weeks and 93% in three months. In the remaining 7% although a reduction was observed the varicecele was still palpable. No patient experienced progression of the disease. In 80% of the patients with altered seminal fluid parameters satisfactory improvement was observed.
