Özet
Neonatal dönemde en sık görülen solid böbrek tümörü olan konjenital mezoblastik nefromanın, daha malign ve agresif seyreden Wilms tümöründen ayırımında ince iğne aspirasyon biyopsisinin yeri vakamızda değerlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır. 24 yaşında 27 haftalık gebeliği olan hasta kliniğimize polihidramniyoz ve fetal intraabdominal kitle sebebiyle sevk edildi. CMN öntanısıyla, ultrason kılavuzluğunda fetal kitleden ince iğne aspirasyon biyopsisi yapıldı. Sitolojik inceleme postmortem incelemede onaylanan CMN tanısını koymada yetersiz kaldı.
Abstract
The place of fine needle aspiration biopsy in distinguishing congenital mesoblastic nephroma (CMN), which is the most common neonatal solid tumor of the kidney, from the more malignant and aggressive Wilms tumor is presented in this case. A 24-year-old woman was referred to our department at 27 weeks gestation because of polyhydramnios and a fetal intraabdominal mass. With the presumptive diagnosis of (CMN), ultrasound guided fine needle aspiration biopsy of the fetal mass was performed. Cytological evaluation revealed atypical cells that were not suggestive of the diagnosis for CMN which was confirmed to be so, at the postmortem investigation.
