Instrumental extraction of a foreign body in a child with persistant vaginal discharge: A case report

Abstract

Foul-smelling, bloody vaginal discharge and pelvic pain may indicate the presence of an unknown intravaginal foreign body especially if chronic or recurrent. This report discusses a girl of 5 year old who had persistant vaginal discharge of long duration and successful instrumental extraction of a foreign body discovered by abdominal X-ray.
