Abstract
Invasive Aspergillus infections involving the central nervous system (CNS) are unusual among children. Mortality and morbidity are very high and aspergillosis of CNS rarely presents as purulent meningitis. A 28 day- old neonate was admitted to our clinic with sepsis findings and diagnosed as purulent meningitis caused by Aspergillus niger. At the end of the six weeks of therapy with liposomal amphotericin B, clinical and mic-robiological cure were achieved,"
