Epididimal leiomyom: Olgu sunumu

Özet

Paratestiküler tümörler nadir olup genellikle spermatik kordon ve epididimde yerleşirler. Paratestiküler bölgenin en sık tümörü adenomatoid tümör olup, bunu leiomyom izler. Leiomyom düz kas dokusunun bulunduğu herhangi bir yerde ortaya çıkabilen benign bir tümördür. Burada epididimal leiomyom tanısı alan 60 yaşındaki erkek hasta klinik ve histopatolojik bulguları ile sunulmuş, kaynaklar eşliğinde tartışılmıştır.

Abstract

Paratesticular tumors are rare. They are usually located on spermatic cord and epididymis. The most common tumor of the paratesticular tissue is the adenomatoid tumor, followed by leiomyoma. Leiomyoma is a benign tumor which may originate anywhere within the genitourinary system where smooth muscle is present. In this report a sixty year old man who received the diagnosis of epididymal leiomyoma is reported with clinical and histopathological findings and discussed with reference to the literature
