Özet
Üst respiratuvar fraktın fırsatçı mikotik enfeksiyonları genellikle paranazal sinüslerde lokalizedir. Etken sıklıkla mukormikozistir. Genellikle iyi kontrol edilemeyen diabetli hastalarda görülür. Tanı biopsilerin histopatolojik incelenmesi veya kültürle konur. Bu sunumda diabetes mellituslu paranazal mukormukozisli bir olgu erken tanının önemi açısından sunulmuştur.
Abstract
The opportunistic fungal infections of the upper respiratory tract are usually located in the paranasal sinuses. The aetiologic agent is often mucormycosis. It usually occurs in association with poorly controlled diabetes mellitus. The diagnosis is made by culture and histopathological examination of the biopsies In this report we present one case of paranasal mucormycosis with diabetes mellitus to draw attention to the early diagnosis of this disease
