Arteria thoracica interna'nın orijinindeki farklılıklar

Özet

Amaç: A. thoracica interna'nin orijinindeki farklılıklar ve bunların görülme sıklığı araştırıldı. Gereç ve Yöntem: Bu çalışma, a.thoracica interna'nin orijinindeki farklılıkları araştırmak amacıyla Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Anatomi Anabilim Dalı laboratuvarında yapıldı. 32 kadavranın, 64 boyun bölgesi disseke edildi. Bulgular: Disseke edilen olgulardan 4'ünde arteria thoracica interna'nin orijininde farklılık gözlendi. 1. olguda sağ a. thoracica interna, a. cervicalis superficialis, a. transversa colli, a. suprascapularis ile birlikte tek kök şeklinde a. subclavia'dan orijin alıyordu. 2. olguda sol a. thoracica interna, toraksa girmeden önce a. suprascapularis ve a. transversa colli dallarını veriyordu. 3. olguda sol a. thoracica interna, a. transversa colli, a. thyroidea inferior ile ortak kökten ayrılıyordu. 4. olguda ise sol a. thoracica interna, truncus thyrocervicalis'den orijin almaktaydı. Sonuç: Arteria thoracica interna'nin orijinindeki farklılıkların ve bunların görülme sıklığının bilinmesinin radyolojik tanıda ve operasyonlar sırasında gerekli olabileceğini düşündük.

Abstract

Objective: This study is done to investigate the incidence and the variations of the origin of internal thoracic artery. Material and Method: This study was performed in Department of Anatomy Dokuz Eylül University School of Medicine. Sixty four neck region dissections were made in fixed 32 cadavers. Results: Differences in the origin of internal thoracic artery was observed in dissected 4 cases. In the first case, right internal thoracic artery was originated from subclavian artery with superficial cervical artery, tranvers cervical artery and suprascapular artery as a single root. In the second case, suprascapular artery and transvers cervical artery were emerged from the left internal thoracic artery before entering thorax. In the third case, left thoracica interna artery arised with transvers cervical artery and inferior thyroid artery at common origin. In the fourth case, left internal thoracic artery was originated from thyrocervical trunk. Conclusions: We suggest that having knowledge about the differences in origins of internal thoracic artery and its variations might help in radiologic diagnosis of diseases and in surgical applications.
