Özet
Günümüzde çevre kirliliği çocuk sağlığını tehdit eden önemli bir faktördür. Erişkinlere göre çocukların çevre kirliliğinden etkilenme riskleri daha yüksektir. Çocuk sağlığını tehdit eden çevre kirliliği toksik elementlerinden olan civanın kaynakları ve çocuk sağlığına etkileri bu derlemede irdelenmektedir.
Abstract
Environmental toxicants are increasingly threatened to child health in this century. They may lead to serious disorders in children. Compare the risk between children and adults for environmental intoxicants; risk of children is higher than adults. One of these toxic materials mercury, may cause some problems in children. In this review, we discussed the major sources of mercury; clinical aspects of chronic mercury intoxication and risk factors for children.
