Robinson projeksiyonu

Özet

Tüm yerküreyi kapsayan dünya haritalarının yapımı için, kartografik literatürde özel bir öneme sahip olan Robinson projeksiyonu dik koordinatlarının hesabı birçok araştırmacı için çalışma konusu olmuştur. Robinson'un tablo değerleri arasında enterpolasyon yöntemleri veya bu tablo değerlerine en iyi yakınsayan farklı algoritmalar arayışı bu çalışmaların odağını oluşturmaktadır. Tartışmaların sonucunda en uygun çözümün tüm tablo değerlerini içeren bir fonksiyonla gerçekleştirilebileceği ifade edilmiştir. Bu çalışmada Robinson projeksiyonu dik koordinatlarının hesabı için multikuadrik enterpolasyon yöntemi önerilmekte ve bu yöntemi içeren hesap algoritması, uygulama ve sonuçları verilmektedir.

Abstract

Computation algorithms for the Robinson projection, which has a special importance in the cartographic literature for mapping the whole world, are become therefore often the subject of study of researchers and specialists. Using different interpolation methods on the Robinson's look-up-table or deriving analytical functions which fit sufficiently to the projection are the main problems of these studies. After the controversies, it is outlined that the most suitable solution must be realized using a function which include all the tabular coordinates. In this study multiquadric interpolation method suggested to calculate Robinson projection coordinates, and are given a new computation algorithm with application and results.
