Büyük ölçekli yapılandırılmış verilerde bina genelleştirmesi

Özet

Bu çalışmada Hannover Üniversitesi Kartografya Enstitüsü tarafından geliştirilmiş ve kategorisinde ilk ticari uygulama olan bina ve yol objelerini işleyebilen CHANGE kartografik genelleştirme sistemi tanıtılmaktadır. Türkiye'ye ait veriler üzerinde yapılan uygulama bazında, genelleştirme parametrelerinin önemi ve nasıl seçilmesi gerektiği tartışılmaktadır. Uygulamada yalnızca bina objeleri kullanılmıştır. Söz konusu verilerden türetilen genelleştirme sonuçları da belli kriterlere göre irdelenerek, sonuçların genelleştirme açısından yeterli olup olmadığı incelenmektedir. Görsel açıdan da incelenen sonuçların, klasik yöntemle üretilen haritalarla karşılaştırılabilecek kalitede olduğu sonucuna varılarak, sistem üretici kurumlara tavsiye edilmektedir.

Abstract

In this study the CHANGE cartographic generalisation system, which was developed by Institute of Cartography at the University of Hannover is introduced. This system is the unique commercial system in its category, and is capable of generalising buildings and roads. The importance and the choice of generalisation parameters based on the results of the case study realised by using the data of Turkey are discussed. In this case study, building objects were only used. Additionally the results are investigated according to certain criteria. Thereafter the reliability of these results is visually and statistically discussed. The results obtained show that the sufficient quality is achieved, as a result the system is advised to mapping agencies..
