Özet
Olfaktör Nöroblastom (Estezionöroblastom), nadir görülen, burun boşluğunun üst kısmında, olfaktör nöroepitelden köken alan bir tümördür. Burun boşluğu tümörlerinin %3'ünden daha az bir kısmını oluşturur. Yavaş büyüme paterni ve lokal rekürrensler ile karakterizedir. Günümüzde, modern görüntüleme yöntemleri ile ameliyat öncesi dönemde sınırları tam ve doğru olarak değerlendirilebilmektedir. Genellikle ileri evrelerde yakalanırlar. Tedavi seçenekleri geniş cerrahi rezeksiyon veya cerrahi rezeksiyon ile kombine radyoterapi veya kemoterapidir. Bir olgu ışığında olfaktör nöroblastom tartışılmaktadır.
Abstract
Olfactory Neuroblastoma (Esthesioneuroblastoma) is an uncommon tumor that arises from olfactory epithelium of upper nasal cavity. It represents less than 3% of nasal cavity tumors. It is characterized by slow growth pattern and local recurrences. Today, its borders can be predicted clearly by modern imaging techniques pre-operatively. They usually present as high-grade tumors. Treatment options are surgical resection or surgical resection combined with radiotherapy or chemotherapy. By means of a case, olfactory neuroblastoma is discussed.
