Dokümanın en d kkat çek c özell ğ , yen dönemde Türk savunma sanay n n gel şt r lmes ht yacının öne çıkarılmasıdır. Abstract

Several models have used n the f eld of publ c pol cy analys s. One of the most commonly used model n th s f eld s the process model. A publ c pol cy has analysed n f ve steps n the process model. The stages of the model are agenda sett ng, formul zat on, leg t mat on, mplementat on and evaluat on. Th s study a ms to analyse Turkey's defence ndustry pol cy accord ng to the process model. In order to narrow down the top c, example of Turk sh Defence Industry Pol cy and Strategy Pr nc ples Document wh ch enacted n 1998 has been exam ned n the study. The most str k ng feature of the document s emphas s on the necess ty of the development of the Turk sh defence ndustry n the new area.
