Özet

Bu çalışmada Kafkas Üniversitesinin Kars ekonomisine sağladığı sosyoekonomik etkiler analiz edilmektedir. Bu kapsamda Kafkas Üniversitesi öğrencileriyle yapılan anketlere göre bir öğrencinin bir aylık harcamasının 600,19 TL, kayıtlı 16044 öğrenci hesaba katıldığında bu rakamın aylık9.629.448 TL olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin Kars'ta sekiz ay bulundukları varsayılırsa; yıllık toplam ekonomik katkının 77.235.587 TL olduğu görülmektedir. Bu rakamlar, üniversitenin Kars ekonomisine sağladığı katkıyı ortaya koyması açısından önemlidir.

Abstract

In this study, the socio-economic impacts provided by Kafkas University on Kars economy are analysed. In this context, according to the surveys conducted by Kafkas University students, a student 's monthly spending of 600,19 ?, 9.629.448?has been determined that this monthly figure taking into account enrolled 16044 students. If students are assumed they were eight months to stay in Kars, the total annual economic contribution is seen as 77, 235, 587? These numbers are important because they show the contribution of the university to Kars economy.
