Özet
Erişkinde ekstrapulmoner tüberkülozun en yaygın şekli genitoüriner tüberkülozdur. Genitoüriner tüberküloz erkekte en sık böbrek, prostat ve epididimi etkiler. Genital tUberkülozluların çok az bir kısmında böbrek tutulumu bulunmayabilir. Bu çalışmada, sol skrotal bölgesinde şişlik ve sonrasında spontan gelişen fistüldeki kronik akıntısında aside dirençli bakteri görülmesiyle tanı konulan ve böbrek tutulumu olmayan, antitüberküloz ilaçlarla tedavi edilen genital tüberkülozlu erkek hasta sunulmuştur.
Abstract
Genitourinary tuberculosis is the most frequent form of extrapulmonary tuberculosis in adults. Genitourinary tuberculosis mostly affects kidneys, prostate and epididim in males. There may not be kidney involvement in a little group of genital tuberculosis cases. In this study, a male patient with genital tuberculosis who had a swollen left scrotum with a spontaneous chronic discharge from a fistula is reported. Acid fast bacteria were seen in the discharge. There was no kidney involvement and the case was treated by antituberculous drugs.
