Abstract
The aim of this study is to determine the awareness of the concept of infinity and triple dot in secondary school students. In this study, case studies have been used. The study was carried out with a total of 40 students, 10 of whom were students from the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades who were educated in İzmir Kemalpaşa province. In this study, middle school students' infinity and three point related thoughts were gathered by interview form consisting of open ended evaluation questions. The results were analyzed by descriptive analysis. There are 4 themes in the study: "triple dot", "greatest number", "infinity decreases" and "infinity increases". In the study, it is seen that the answers given by the students to these themes are contradictory and the students do not fully understand these concepts. From this study, we can deduce that, secondary school students ( 5, 6, 7 and 8. grade) pass to a higher education institution without fully learning these two concepts they encounter in secondary school.
