Gebe Okulunda Eğitim Alan Gebelerin Bilgi Düzeyleri Üzerine Bir Araştırma

Özet
Amaç: Gebe okulunda eğitim alan gebelerin eğitim öncesi ve eğitim sonrası bilgi düzey durumlarındaki değişimi araştırmaktır Yöntem: Araştırma, Ocak-Temmuz 2015 tarihleri arasında bir kamu hastanesinde gebe okulunda eğitim alan 70 gebe ile yapıldı, Etik Kurul onayı alındı. Oluşturulan ankette eğitim öncesi sosyodemografik özellikleri, gebelik öyküsü, bilgi düzeyine yönelik sorular soruldu. Eğitim sorası bilgi düzeyi soruları yinelendi. Bulgular: Araştırmamızda, yaş ortalaması 28.13±4.72 olan 70 gebenin, %47.1'nin üniversite mezunu, %44.3'nün ev hanımı, %84.3'nün evlenme yaşı 21-30 yaş arasında olduğu belirlendi. Gebelik haftaları ortalaması 27.14±5.24, %84.3'nün herhangi bir rahatsızlığı olmadığı, %72.9'nun ilk gebeliği olduğu bulundu. %60'nın gebe okulu eğitimini sağlık çalışanlarından duyduğu saptandı. Eğitim öncesi ve sonrası bölüm soruları doğru yanıt dağılımlarının, gebelik bölümünde %53.36'dan %97.44'e, doğum bölümünde %51.98'den %97.7'ye, lohusalık bölümünde %44.56'dan %99.14'e, emzirme bölümünde %44.24'ten %100'e, bebek bakımı bölümünde %58.56' dan %99.72'ye yükseldiği saptandı. Toplam soruların eğitim öncesi ve sonrası doğru yanıt verme oranı %50.54'ten %98.8'e yükseldiği bulundu. Ön-test puan ortalaması 1 ile 3 arasında değişmekte olup 2.15±0.43 iken, son test puan ortalaması 2.7 ile 3 arasında olup 2.98±0.04 olarak saptandı. Ön test puanına göre son test puanında görülen artış istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bulunmuştur (p<0.01). Sonuç: Araştırmada gebelerin bilgi düzeylerinin verilen eğitimle anlamlı olarak yükseldiği, ilk gebeliği olanların ve üniversite mezunu olanların gebe eğitimine daha yüksek oranda katıldığı saptandı.
Abstract
Objective: Aim of this study is to figure out the changes in knowledge levels of the pregnants receiving training in the pregnancy school compared to baseline Method: This study performed with 70 pregnant participants who received training in a pregnancy school of a public hospital between i January and July 2015. Ethics committee approval was obtained before the study. The questionnaire consisted of questions pertaining baseline socio-demographic characteristics, history of pregnancy, knowledge level of the participants. After training their knowledge level were again questioned. Results: Mean age of the study participants was 28.13±4.72 years, 47.1% of them were university graduates, 44.3% of them housewives, and marriage age of 84.3% of them were between 21-30 years. Mean gestational age was 27.14±5.24 weeks, and all of the participants were healthy.while 72.9% of them were primiparas. Sixty percent of the participants were been informed by health staff about the training. Compared with the baseline, after training, the percentages of correct answers increased as follows: pregnancy section (53.36 vs 97.44%), childbirth section (51.98% vs 97.7%), puerperal section (44.56 vs 99.14%), breast-feeding section (44.24 vs 100%), baby-care section (58.56 vs 99.72%). It was also determined that overall percentage of correct answers raised to 98.8% after training compared to baseline (50.54%). Pre-test scores ranged from 1 to 3 is between 2:15±0.43 while the average post-test scores of 2.7 and 3 were found to be 2.98±0.04. According to the latest test scores rise in pre-test scores were statistically significant (p<0.01). Conclusion: In this study was found that increased knowledge level of participants as meaningful thanks to the education in pregnancy school. The most of participants had first-pregnancy and also graduated a university.
