Özet
Değişik klinik örneklerden izole edilen metisiline dirençli stafilokok suşlarında linezolid, vankomisin, gentamisin, levofloksasin, ko-trimoksazol ve telitromisin dirençlerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Linezolid ve vankomisine karşı direnç saptanmamış, ancak diğer antibiyotiklere karşı yüksek direnç yüzdeleri dikkati çekmiştir. Bununla birlikte metisiline dirençli Staphylococcus aureus suşlarına ko-trimoksazol de etkili bulunmuştur. Sonuçlara göre linezolid metisiline dirençli stafilokok suşlarının neden olduğu infeksiyonların tedavisinde iyi bir alternatif durumundadır.
Abstract
It was aimed to determine the resistance of methicillin-resistant staphylococci isolated from various clinics to linezolid, vancomycin, gentamicin, levofloxacin, co-trimoxazole and telithromycin. While there were no resistance to linezolid and vancomycin, high rates of resistance to other antibiotics were remarkable. Neverthless, co-trimoxazole was also found effective to methicillin-resistant Staphylococccus aureus strains. In respect of the results, linezolid is a good alternate in treatment of infections caused by of methicillin-resistant staphylococci.
