Özet
Bu çalışmada, İslamofobi’nin oluşum sürecine ve algılanma biçimine ayrıntılı bir şekilde değinildikten sonra, Almanya’da yayımlanan karikatürlerde ortaya konan İslam karşıtı görüşler ve karikatür okuyucusunda oluşturulan İslam ve Müslüman imgesi irdelenmeye çalışılmıştır. İmge inceleme sürecinde karikatürler onur kırıcı olsa da tarafsız yorumlama yöntemi kullanılmıştır.
Abstract
This study investigates the process of Islamophobia's emergence and the ways in which it is perceived;and thereby, the study aims to scrutinize anti-Islamic views in the caricatures published in Germany and the image of Islam and Muslim people created in the mind of caricature readers. While examining the images, the method of objective interpretation is used though the caricatures are derogatory.
