KONUT SEKTÖRÜNÜN MOBİLYA SEKTÖRÜNE ETKİSİ: ALMON MODELİ

Özet

İnşaat sektöründeki gelişmelerin sektörünü de etkilediği düşünülmektedir. Gerçekten de böyle mi? Bu amaç amacı Türkiye 'de konut satışlarının mobilya sektörüne kazanmak araştırmaktır. Bu amaç 2013: 01-2017: 01 dönemi aylık konut satışları ve imalat sanayi mobilya sektör üretim endeksi sürdürüldü. İnşaat sektörünün mobilya imalat sektöre etkisi gecikmesi dağıtılmış modellerden biri olan Almon Modeli analiz edilmiştir. Almon Modeli sonuçlarına göre, konut satışlarının üretimine etkisi onun geçen dönem etkisini azaltmaktadır. Konut satışlarının, mobilya üretimine etkisi yaklaşık olarak 5. aydan sonra kayda değer bir etki göstermemektedir. Analizden elde edilen sonuçlara göre, inşaat sektöründeki gelişmeler kısa kısa süreli ve geçici bir etkiye neden olmaktadır.

Abstract

Developments in the construction sector are also thought to affect the furniture sector. Is it really like this? The aim of this study is to investigate the impact of housing sales on the furniture sector in Turkey. For this purpose, monthly housing sales and manufacturing industry furniture sector production index data for the period 2013:01-2017:01 were used. The impact of the construction industry on the furniture manufacturing industry has been analyzed using the Almon Model, one of the distributed lag models. According to the results of the Almon model, the impact of housing sales on furniture production gradually decreases every period. The effect of housing sales on furniture production does not show a significant effect after approximately the 5. month. According to the results obtained from the analysis, developments in the construction sector cause a very short and temporary effect on the furniture industry. It is also thought that this situation may have a disruptive effect on the market structure of the furniture sector.
