Method: The students who were attending a university in Istanbul formed the universe of this descriptive research, while its sampling consisted of 185 students educating in the nursing department, and 177 student educating in other departments (n=362) who agreed to participate in the study. The data were collected using a questionnaire form prepared by researchers. For the evaluation of data obtained mean, percentile and chi-square test were used. Results: The mean age of the students was 20.07±1.79 years. It was determined that the majority of the students included in the survey was girls (79.8%, n=35), nursing students (51.1%), first grade students (40.9%) and they were staying in dormitories (61.9%).
