Abstract
Turkish-Greek relations, which began to be strained by the policy they pursued on the Cyprus issue, came to a breaking point because the issue was not resolved at the London Conference. But the last straw is the news in the Istanbul newspaper Ekspres that Ataturk's house was bombed in Thessaloniki. As the young people and students gathered in Taksim to protest the incident, some of them started to attack the houses and businesses of Greek craftsmen. After providing the public order, there was a ruined Istanbul.
