Özet

Pediyatrik kalp yetmezliği hastalarında medikal tedavinin yetersiz kaldığı durumlarda ventrikül mekanik destek cihazları hastalara yaşam şansı sunan bir alternatiftir. Ancak bu cihazların yüksek maliyeti nedeniyle hasta seçiminin iyi yapılması gerekir. Sol ventrikül destek cihazı (LVAD) yerleştirilmesi için spontan kalp ritminin devamı ve normal serebral fonksiyonların olması gerekir. Biz bu sunumda, akut kardiyak yetmezlikle hastanemize başvuran bir pediatrik hastanın intraoperatif nöromonitorizasyon ile kalp nakline kadar giden sürecini sunmak istedik.

Return to Life with Intraoperative NeuromonitoringIn patients with pediatric heart failure, when the medical therapy remains inadequate, ventricular assist device is an alternative that offers the chance of life to patients. However, patient selection should be properly made because of the high cost of these devices. For the implantation of left ventricular assist device (LVAD) that persistence of spontaneous heart beats and presence of normal cerebral function are required In this case report we wanted to present the course of the disease from intraoperative neuromonitorization up to heart transplantation in a pediatric patient who was admitted to our hospital with acute cardiac failure.
