Özet

Bu makale, Cumartesi Anneleri’nin sürekli protesto eyleminden yola çıkarak gündelik hayatın dönüşümünü sorunsallaştırmaktadır. Çalışmada öncelikle gündelik hayatın tekdüze yapısından çıkışın protesto eylemi ile mümkün olduğu iddia edilmektedir. İkinci olarak, gündelik hayatın sıradan aktörleri gibi değerlendirilen kadınların bir protestoya sürekli katılım sağladıklarında, toplumsal hareket aktörü olarak gündelik hayatlarını dönüştürebildikleri ileri sürülmektedir. Bununla birlikte, Cumartesi Anneleri’nin eylemlerinin Türkiye’de en uzun süren sivil itaatsizlik eylemi olduğu göz önüne alındığında, kadınların protesto aktörü olarak sosyal konumlarını değerlendirmenin gerekliliği ortaya çıkmaktadır. Bu makale, protestocu kadınların gündelik rutinlerinden yola çıkarak siyasi ve toplumsal hayata katılma süreçlerini ele almakta; protestonun gündelik hayatı kalıcı biçimde değiştirdiğini saptamaktadır.

Abstract

This article problematizes the possibilities of the transformation of everyday life by focusing on the protest of Saturday Mothers. It is claimed that the escape from the monotony of everyday life is possible through protest. Secondly, it is argued that women who are seen as ordinary actors of everyday life, can transform their daily lives as actors of social movements when they participate in a protest continuously. When its considered that the protest of the Saturday Mothers is the most long lasting civil disobedience action in Turkey, the necessity to evaluate the social conditions of women as actors of the protest arises. In this respect, this article evaluates the process of protesting women's participation in political and social life through on the basis of the routines of everyday life and shows that the protest changes everyday life permanently.
