YENİ LİSAN HAREKETİNİN GENÇ KALEMLER DERGİSİNDEKİ GÖRÜŞLERİNİN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

Özet

Genç Kalemler Dergisi içindeki Yeni Lisan makaleleri milli bir edebiyatın ancak milli bir dil sayesinde gerçekleşeceğini ortaya koymakla kalmamış aynı zamanda yeni bir hayatın teşekkülünde belirleyici bir güç olmuştur. Yeni Lisan hareketi, Arapça ve Farsça kurallarla hastalıklı bir yapıya bürünen dilimizin, İstanbul Türkçesinin sağlam ve sanatlı yapısı sayesinde tekrar sağlığına kavuşabileceğini göstermiştir. Bu hareket, Türk Dilinin sadeleştirilmesi meselesinde tasfiyecilerin görüşlerini reddederek, lisanımızın tabii gelişimini esas almıştır. Edebiyatın mahiyetinin ve vazifesinin ne olduğu meselesi üzerinde, lisanın kurallarının tespitinde, lisanımızın oluşturduğu zevk ve estetiğe sahip çıkmak hususunda hem nazariyatı oluşturma hem de edebi eser verme noktasında başarılı olmuştur. Milli ruhun meydana çıkmasında lisanın ne kadar büyük ve önemli bir güce sahip olduğu bu makaleler ve bu hareket sayesinde gündeme gelmiş; söz konusu makaleler sonraki nesilleri de etkilemiştir

Abstract

The articles in the Young Pens Magazine not only put emphasize that a national literature would be flourished through a national language but also they were some power shaping a new way of life. The New Language Movement indicated that our ill structured old language, loaded with Arabic and Persian heavy grammar rules, would only be saved through well and artistic structured İstanbul Turkish. This movement based its doctrine on the natural development of our language by denying the views of dischargers in Turkish Language simplifying matters. When defining the rules of language on the matter of the scope and mission of literature, the point of owning the appreciation and aesthetics of our language was successful not only in building theories but also in giving literary products. By means of these articles, it is re-known that how language is important and has a strong effect in shaping a national soul and the so called articles affected the next generations
