Abstract

Introduction: ST elevated myocardial infarction(STEMI) is a derivation of acute coronary syndrome that is known as can be associated with mortality and complications with cardiogenic shock to due decreased ventricular ejection also to be treated with percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) therapy as class 1a. Case Report: We aimed to present a 48-year-old male patient who was performed extracorporeal cardiopulmonary resuscitation in the intensive care unit after a primary LAD percutaneous stent implantation with a diagnosis of ST elevated myocardial infarction. Conclusion: If the cardiac arrest occurs in the hospital and the cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR) does not have the expected response, the applying extracorporial-CPR(e-CPR) may increase the chances of success.
