Özet

Hemanjiyomlar karaciğerin en sık benign lezyonları olup vasküler dokudan köken alırlar ve genellikle asemptomatik davranırlar. Sıklıkla küçük boyutlarda olup kadınlarda ve orta yaş kesiminde sık görülürler. 'Dev' olarak adlandırılan hemanjiyomlar daha nadir izlenmekle birlikte genellikle semptomatik olurlar ve takip-tedavi seçimi lokalizasyon, hasta özellikleri, semptomların derecesine bağlı olarak yapılır. Bu vakada genç hastada semptomatik dev karaciğer hemanjiyomunun başarılı cerrahi tedavisini literatürün kısa bir derlemesiyle beraber sunmayı amaçladık.

Abstract

Hemangiomas are the most common lesions of theliver, developing from the vascular tissue and usuallyhave an asymptomatic behaviour. These lesions areusually small in size and encountered more commonlyin females and middle-aged patients. The ones that aretermed as ‘giant’ are much more uncommon butusually symptomatic. The choice of follow-up andtreatment in these lesions depends on patient’sdemographics, localization and the degree ofsymptoms. In this case, we aimed to report a giant andsymptomatic hepatic hemangioma in a young femalepatient and its successful surgical treatment with abrief review of the literatüre
