Özet
Özet: İnsanoğlu ilk çağlardan itibaren doğa şartlarına karşı koymak ve ahlak kuralları gereğince örtünme ihtiyacı duymuştur. Bu ihtiyaç dokumacılık ve dericiliğin gelişmesini sağlamıştır. Elde edilen dokuma ve deri ürünlerden çeşitli giysiler üretilmiştir. İnce elbiseden mantoya, sandaletten çizmeye kadar birçok giyim ürünü elde edilmiştir. İlk başlarda gayet sade olan kıyafetler zamanla günün modasına uygun olarak şekillenmiştir. Saçak ve ponpon gibi aplike işleriyle giysiler süslenmiştir. Kemer, kuşak, başörtüsü vs. aksesuarlar da giyimi tamamlayan ürünler olarak kullanılmıştır. Ayrıca her döneme özgü üniforma tarzında tek tip askerî kıyafetler de yapılmıştır. Bu çalışmada arkeolojik bulgular ve çivi yazılı kaynakları beraber değerlendirerek Mezopotamya insanının giyim kültürünü ortaya koymaya çalıştık.
Abstract
Abstract: From the earliest times human beings have felt the need to resist the natural conditions and to cover them in accordance with the moral rules. This need has enabled the development of weaving and leather. Various garments were produced from the obtained woven and leather products. From fine dress to jacket, from sandals to garments, many clothing products have been obtained. In the beginning, the clothes which are very plain are shaped according to the fashion of time. Clothes are decorated with applique works such as eaves and pompon. Belt, belt, headscarf etc. accessories were also used as complementary products. In addition, every type of uniform-style military uniforms were made. In this study, we tried to reveal the clothing culture of the people of Mesopotamia by evaluating archaeological findings and cuneiform sources together.
